Today we were assisted by a tailwind, so we made great progress. Laura and I set up camp in Viking's campsite.
We met some of the local ladies at the train station (converted to a teahouse) and had a delightful chat and nice goodies (although the mango cake was gone!). We all got pins from Viking - "The home of the Sutters." Viking has a very nice museum that you should have a look at if you are through town.Today's photos are our first close-up of a grain elevator and the train station at Viking.
